Job Purpose:
Responsible for the infrastructure of production-related IT applications, interfaces and remote access options.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Production network/LAN, servers, VMware, Active Directory, Windows Server, SQL Server, data backup, cyber security
  • Ensuring operational continuity with focus on availability and performance
  • Performing administrative activities on servers and workstations including authorization management
  • LifeCycle Management
  • Supporting the planning, creation, procurement and integration of production and laboratory systems
  • Supporting IT/OT projects and managing external service providers in the IT/OT area
  • Business continuity management
  • Collaboration on IT/OT strategy
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering
  • Experience in the administration of networks, Windows operating systems and VMware
  • Experience with Active Directory, backup, antivirus etc.
  • Practical experience in the integration of process control systems and programmable logic controllers into the IT environment
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and PHP programming and MS-SQL databases
  • Experienced with MS Office
  • Knowledge of common IP-based fieldbuses (PROFINET, Modbus TCP, general Industrial Ethernet)

 

Work Availability

Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work Monday- Friday during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
