JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing short-term production schedules (4-week horizon) across multiple production lines. You will work closely with Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient operations while balancing customer needs with production capabilities. 

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 3-5 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or supply chain environments 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (creating formulas, charts, and basic data analysis) 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various teams. 
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly. 
  • Basic understanding of production processes and scheduling concepts
Preferred:
  • 5-8 years of experience as an operator in polycarbonate extrusion manufacturing 
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management, or related field 
  • Experience with SAP and APO planning modules 
  • Knowledge of make-to-order manufacturing environments. 
  • Demonstrated success in improving production efficiency. 
  • Experience with cycle counting and inventory management. 
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends for continuous improvement.

  • Achieving high schedule adherence rates (measured by plan vs. actual completion) 
  • Ensuring on-time completion of critical customer orders 
  • Developing realistic production schedules that optimize line efficiency. 
  • Anticipating potential issues and implementing proactive solutions 
  •  Contributing to improved customer service and operational efficiency

Work Availability

Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work Monday- Friday during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
