Job Summary
Acts as a contact point between customers, project team, research and development department, and design team,  to come up with practical solutions to respond to client’s needs. 
 
How You Can Be the Impact
  • Provide technical support to existing and new customers of FF Sheet and Film.
  • Understands and interprets material requirements of new customers, new products and new business opportunities. Proposes new material solutions based on client’s needs and FF delivery capability.
  • Conduct industry analysis and recognizes new market/technology trends and opportunities to improve FF’s sales and market share. 
  • Technical support includes (but is not limited to):
    • Lamination
    • Thermoforming
    • Cold forming and bending
    • In-mold decoration
    • Cutting, drilling and routing techniques
    • Paint, print and adhesion techniques
  • Build advanced process understanding and expertise, and develop training for internal and external customers.
  • Support the introduction of new materials with application development ensuring process optimization at customer base.
  • Handling, analyzing and reporting of technical issues at customer base.
  • Help to manage and maintain client relations, while realizing new business with existing clients and acquiring new clients.
  • Feedback customer’s voice and KPI’s.
  • Be recognized by customers as an expert in relevant technical areas.
  
What Matters to POLYVANTIS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferred in Material/Polymer Science or relevant work experiences in application development.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in technical/process/application development.
  • A hands-on practical approach to problem solving at customer level.
  • Strong technical orientation, understanding of multiple processing technologies.
  • Time management and prioritization.
  • Have strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Plastics product’ Knowledge.
  • Provide values and solutions to customer’s requests.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Spanish language skills a plus.
  • Field role requiring 40-50% travel, mostly within North, South America and Canada region.

Work Availability

Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work Monday- Friday during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
